Mr. Ahmed Eldirdiri

Mr. Eldirdiri is an experienced Sudanese lawyer and corporate advisor, with more than eight years of practising experience. A bilingually qualified legal practitioner with expertise in corporate counselling, arbitration, and ADR. Graduated from the Law School at the University of Khartoum. Being skilled in both common and civil laws after working abroad, Ahmed has drafted, reviewed and advised on massive and complex transactions across the GCC and Africa. His expertise lies in corporate commercial law with a focus on private sector development initiatives and the contracts field with high-end diligence on risk assessments and costs minimization. He is a construction/infrastructure specialist with a keen ability to provide timely advice to clients and meeting deadlines in quick-turnaround events. Through establishing DirNour & Co. Law Firm in early 2018, Ahmed managed to represent clients in comprehensive investment transactions in Sudan, earning the trust of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, which led to the receipt of honour for being appointed as Legal Counselor and a Board Secretary for a number of those businesses. Ahmed believes in initiatives that aim to create a safe landing zone for international businesses in Sudan and re-connect Sudan with the international community through enriching Sudanese investment ecosystem.
Ms. Duaa Abdelnour
Founder - Associate
Ms. Abdelnour posses an exceptional set of legal skills, particularly in the business and commercial sectors. Her expertise lies in Energy, ICT, Agriculture, manufacturing, Employment and over-all corporate transactions. Ms. Duaa also concentrates in the regulatory compliance and risk mitigation that result from a poor legal monitoring system that doesn’t live up to international best practices. She is keen on mapping an effective anticorruption compliance program and ethical leadership, prevention and improvement. In confidence, she can draft, review and negotiate different types of contracts, such as MOUs, NDAs, Service Agreements, JVs, financing contracts, PPAs, international supply agreements and partnerships. While working for a Sudanese conglomerate, Ms. Duaa professionally delivered meticulous statutory compliance reports for all the group companies and presented comprehensive analysis reports on the legal status of each company to asses potential risks and gap identification. Setting her gaze towards the future, Duaa co-founded DirNour&Co. Law Firm to fix the stepping stone for the legal best practice in Sudan.
Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim
With over twenty years of practicing as a lawyer, Mr. Mohamed served in a capacity of legal advisor to several major companies in Sudan for more than a decade. Mr. Mohammed was determined by then to focus on the criminal field and to deal with cases of infringement and criminal possession, the press and publications, homicide, child issues (rape – homicide - entrapment - kidnapping) and everything related to Consumer Protection laws. Mr. Mohammed also advises on drafting and notarizing documents, letters and official statements for commercial registration purposes, embassies and diplomatic missions requirements.
Ms. Sara Saif Elislam
Ustaza Sara is a Sudanese senior legal practitioner with a remarkable track record. She graduated from Alneelain University in 2008. She has extensive experience in Company business Laws, Alternative Dispute Resolutions, Labor laws and regulations. She worked as a legal translator at Binsuwaidan Advocates and Legal Consultancy in Dubai in 2012, soon after that, she joined Bin Mes’har Advocates and Legal Consultants as a legal associate. Ms. Sara was also an Office Manager for Bin Suwaidan Advocates & Legal Consultants – Sudan’s branch, then she moved to manage Ajman branch in 2017. Among her many posts, Ms. Sara managed to serve as Legal Consultant for the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) Embassy in Khartoum before joining the Sudanese Commercial Law Office – SCLO in 2018 in a position of Senior Associate. Ms. Sara has extensive knowledge and expertise in handling different type of cases before arbitral tribunals and the Sudanese Courts as well. She continuously keeps developing herself in all areas of Law since she joined Angaza Africa Law Training (ILFA) where she studied and received her online course certificates specifically in Law Firm practice & management, Corporate Law, Dispute Resolution and Personal Skills. She usually participates with the World Bank in updating Sudanese Laws and Regulations. In 2019 Ms. Sara received her training certificate in Sudanese Labor Laws and regulations from the International Development Center in Khartoum. She Joined DirNor&Co. Law Firm on the special day of February 2nd 2020 in the position of Senior Associate.
Ms. Maisa Bashir
With an Intellectual Property background, Ms. Maisa handles all aspects of IP issues in addition to, providing legal consultations in multiple fields, particularly, Employment, Business and NGOs Registration, Legal and Regulatory Compliance. With profound skills of contracts drafting and negotiation, Maisa also conducts comprehensive legal research and due diligence reports in topics varying in complexities. The experiences and being fully bilingual, qualified Ms. Maisa to follow the work of our Clients with optimum ease and proficiency..
Ms. Alaa Jalal Eldin
Ustaza Alaa received her bachelor’s degree from University of Khartoum by the end of 2015. She passed the Sudanese Bar exam in September 2016 and received her practice license by April 2018. She's competent in drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts, and has the skills and training to provide companies with legal advice in a variety of aspects due to her 2+ years of practising as Legal Counsel. Her primary focus is in Corporate Investment Law, in addition to her abilities in settling employment disputes and debt collection, whether in courtrooms or amicably. Furthermore, Alaa has experience in litigation in Civil, Criminal and Sharia courts, as she is more than competent in creating monthly and annual reports to Clients alongside legal opinions. She joined our firm in December 2019
Ms. Hazar Ali
Ms. Hazar has experience in several fields, including registration of Companies - Business Names - Commercial Agencies and other matters related to commercial registrations. Hazar also enjoys remarkable litigation skills in Civil, Criminal and Sharia laws. For instance, she handles rents, land registrations, financial claims, partnership and corporate disputes, divorce, alimony, inheritance, fraud, forgery, property ownership and intellectual property just to name a few. Ms. Hazar also advises in everything related to labor and residence laws for foreigners and other logistical matters for employers & employees.
